Each year since 1993, the Foundation of The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity (GOCC/ Polish Wielka Orkiestra Świątecznej Pomocy, or ‘WOŚP’) collects money to purchase medical devices for pediatric and geriatric wards. The concerts, festivals, and various cultural and sports events it organizes bring people together, while raising the important funds. The second side of the Foundation’s activities is a tender process to select the devices to be purchased. For this 49th edition of the Foundation’s activities, Agfa HealthCare has won for the first time, and will deliver 3 DX-D 100+ wireless, mobile systems. They are ideal for both pediatric and geriatric environments, because they improve the efficiency of bedside imaging while streamlining workflow through full integration with the RIS/PACS. We were up against 29 companies representing the world’s largest manufacturers of medical devices. And we are very proud that the value of our solutions has been recognized by a highly trusted and influential organization such as The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity.
