Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, The Association of Medical Imaging Management (AHRA) will be entirely virtual for 2020 and Agfa is proud to be a Platinum level sponsor.   Agfa will participate with live-streaming demonstrations and an AHRA provided online booth. The new DR 100s Mobile will be demonstrated and visitors will learn how the DR 100s and Agfa MUSICA Chest+ can help them save time, provide exquisite image quality and provide low radiation dose to their patients.  In addition, visitors will be introduced to the DR 800 Multi-Purpose DR System and the fully automatic DR 600 DR System via the virtual booth.  Live streaming demonstrations will be available 11:00 AM through 3:00 PM Eastern US time August 11-13, 2020.  Agfa’s virtual exhibition will be available to attendees for an additional 30 days by AHRA.

“We are happy to continue our long-standing support of AHRA and it is especially important for all of us this year. Together, we have faced a challenge no one has ever experienced nor expected with COVID-19. Healthcare providers have always been dedicated to caring for their patients but this pandemic has also proven how heroic they are,” says Jared K. Houk, Senior VP of the North American Radiology Solutions business. “Our DR solutions have been designed to help radiographers and radiologists perform at their very best. With our #CountOnUs campaign, we want our customers to know we are here to help them in every way possible.”

#CountOnUs is Agfa’s initiative to co-create and enable practical responses to the COVID-19 crisis, hand-in-hand with our clinical partners. Healthcare providers are facing high volume demand for digital radiographs while simultaneously keeping imaging units properly disinfected. The #CountOnUs initiative focuses on finding ways to support imaging departments to increase their capacity, productivity and uptime.
