The new Centro Hospitalario La Paz is considered to be the most modern medical center in Guatemala. The 235-bed hospital has a maternity, pediatric and intensive care unit serving neonatals, children and adults. It offers a variety of services and accomodates a diagnostic imaging center and a high tech laboratory.
In order to provide a better service to the public, the hospital acquired a new Agfa DR 400 digital floor mounted DR system, improving the quality of patient care.
The DR 400 solution provides immediate previews that reduce time between exposures and thus optimize the workflow. This allows patients to be released more quickly.
The system was sold by the local distributor SERVICIOS QUIRURGICOS who was in charge of the negotiation and delivery of the digital floor mounted DR system to the Hospital.
