Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the Costa Rica Social Security decided to reform its National Center for re-habilitation. This center, dedicated to the therapy of accident victims, now has become a hospital that exclusively supports COVID-19 patients.
Therefore, an urgent update of all systems necessary to handle this pandemic was needed. As delivery times of new systems ( of different suppliers) would take too long, Agfa has offered its Retrofit solution to digitalize one of the existing analog units in the healthcare center. Installation of the Retrofit solution was completed very quickly.
