Agfa’s CR 15-X operating in a 168 meter warship that has been converted into a floating hospital in Chile.

The Covid-19 pandemic also affected patients with other diseases, due to the the lack of intensive care rooms their surgeries were cancelled.
Thanks to an alliance with the Higueras Hospital, the ship “Aldea Sargent” started to operate as a floating hospital, attending the non covid patients that need surgery.
By now, 55 operations have been made on board, with the aim of decongesting the waiting lines in pathologies other than the corona virus.
The boat also has a Radiology and Imaging diagnostic department on board, including an Agfa CR 15-X system.
