Providing health services nationwide for over more than 30 years and with a medical staff that has a long history in the treatment of rare and complex diseases, the professionals of the Hospital Clínica San Francisco have significantly increased the use of X-rays in the Intensive Care, Neonatal, Intermediate Care and COVID units. They genereated such an increase in the demand for exams, the institution decided to digitalize their analog mobile X-Ray system with Agfa’s Kit mobile solution and DX-D 40 digital detector.
The Mobile kit solution allowed an easy migration from CR to DR assuring excellent image quality at a lower doses, significant workflow improvements, an immediate visualization of the image for the treating doctors and reduced patient waiting times.
Thanks to the Agfa Ecuador Overseas distributor who was in charge of negotiations and delivery of the equipment and who was able to support the hospital in the improvement their radiology services with high quality solutions.
