ALTIUS Swiss Sportmed Center is a clinic offering a full range of sports medical and orthopaedic diagnostics and therapy, enabling patients to receive all their treatment services under one roof. Six doctors, two assistant doctors and the complete 48-person team strive to provide the highest level of care, to ensure patients’ optimal rehabilitation and maintenance.
To support its ongoing goals, the Center has chosen to implement Agfa’s scalable DR 400 floor-mounted X-ray room. This complete DR system can grow and develop with the needs of the facility, delivering higher throughput, lower cost per examination and excellent image quality. The versatile system is ideal for group practices and clinics, with numerous benefits including full leg/full spine (FLFS) imaging capability.
Installation of the system has now been finalised and the customer is already very enthusiastic about the MUSICA image quality and the motorized vertical tracking control of the tubehead for better and easier patient positioning.
