Dose control immediately after exposure
MUSICA supports users in their daily routine not only with an excellent image quality – with related potential dose reduction and a real efficient workflow – but it also ensures dose management immediately after exposure on the DR workstation. MUSICA dose management compares the measured dose area product immediately after exposure with the official reference value and clearly shows the result on the DR workstation: Different colors display whether or not the existing diagnostic reference value complies with the official value for the X-ray exam in question. In negative case, this will be visualized with clear numeric figures and color codes, and a text box next to it to state the inconsistency reason.
MUSICA dose management follows the clear objective of better awareness and control of the diagnostic reference value in the direct course of the X-ray examination.
