The Evangelisches Krankenhaus Lippstadt in Germany, the biggest acute hospital in the area with 328 beds and 17.000 patients yearly, has recently installed two Agfa DR Retrofit units.
The wireless, high resolution full-field AED DR 14e detector will support the x-ray staff in the intensive care department. Agfa’s compact, small size DR 10s detector which easily fits into an incubator bucky tray will be used to support the childrens department. With its high DQE and optimal pixel size, the detector is ideal for low dose examinations.
Agfa has been chosen because of its MUSICA image processing software for “first-time-right” images with the possibility to reduce dose. Especially in these challenging COVID-times, the intelligent MUSICA software makes a difference and ensures a faster workflow, improving the efficiency of both departments.
